Neil Patrick Harris, Jane Krakowski join 'Shit. Meet. Fan.' Off-Broadway cast

Debra Messing and Constance Wu are among the other cast members of writer/director Robert O'Hara's world-premiere play adapted from a 2016 Italian film.

Show, meet cast! Neil Patrick Harris and Jane Krakowski have joined the cast of Shit. Meet. Fan. off Broadway, a new play at MCC Theater. Performances run from October 10 to November 17, and opening night is October 28.

Harris (How I Met Your Mother, Hedwig and the Angry Inch) and Krakowski (30 Rock, Schmigadoon!) join the previously announced Garret Dillahunt (Fear the Walking Dead), Genevieve Hannelius (Along for the Ride), Billy Magnussen (Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike), Debra Messing (Will and Grace), Tramell Tillman (Severance), and Constance Wu (Crazy Rich Asians).

Playwright/director Robert O'Hara's Shit. Meet. Fan. takes place at a party where a group of friends must read aloud every message they receive on their phones, leading to surprising revelations. The world-premiere play is adapted from the popular 2016 Italian film Perfect Strangers.

As previously announced, the creative team includes set designer Clint Ramos, costume designer Sarafina Bush, lighting designer Alex Jainchill, and sound designer Palmer Hefferan.
