KPOP will play its final Broadway performance at the Circle in the Square Theatre on December 11. At the time of closing, KPOP will have played 44 preview performances and 17 regular performances.

The final Broadway performance will be dedicated to the Asian American and Pacific Islanders (AAPI) community, with an event and panel discussion.

Set at a one-night-only benefit concert, KPOP follows the biggest Korean artists as they take to the stage. In a KPOP review on New York Theatre Guide, our critic said: “No one could accuse this show celebrating Korean pop music of skimping when it comes to fervent flash and electrifying oomph. The production makes amazing use of Circle in the Square’s thrust stage and boasts enough dazzle and energy to power up two Broadway shows.”

The production stars Luna, Julia Abueva, BoHyung, Major Curda, Jinwoo Jung, Jiho Kang, Amy Keum, James Kho, Marina Kondo, Eddy Lee, Joshua Lee, Jully Lee, Lina Rose Lee, Timothy H. Lee, Abraham Lim, Min, Kate Mina Lin, Aubie Merrylees, Patrick Park, Zachary Noah Piser, Kevin Woo, and John Yi.

The musical features an original story by Jason Kim, music and lyrics by Helen Park and Max Vernon, direction by Teddy Bergman, and choreography by Jennifer Weber.
