'Into the Woods' to offer Broadway rush tickets

The acclaimed revival runs through January 8.

You can get what you wish! Into the Woods is offering rush tickets, beginning tonight, for the remainder of Broadway its run through January 8.

A limited number of $59 rush tickets will be available in person at the St. James Theatre box office each day beginning at 10 a.m. Each person can request up to two tickets for that afternoon or evening's performance. Tickets are subject to availability.

The Tony Award-winning Stephen Sondheim musical Into the Woods mashes up the stories of multiple fairytale characters into one story, in which they learn what happens after happily ever after. A five-star New York Theatre Guide review of this Into the Woods revival reads, "The first act flows along smoothly as silk, while the second act is choppier but deeper. This show is filled with musical highlights."

The current cast includes Patina Miller and Montego Glover sharing the role of The Witch, Stephanie J. Block as the Baker’s Wife, Brian d’Arcy James as the Baker, Krysta Rodriguez as Cinderella, Gavin Creel as the Wolf/Cinderella’s Prince, Andy Karl as Rapunzel’s Prince, Katy Geraghty as Little Red Ridinghood, Jim Stanek as the Steward, Ann Harada as Jack’s Mother, Cole Thompson as Jack, and Alysia Velez as Rapunzel.
