F#%king Up Everything announces cast

Jeremy Handelman/Off The Leash Productions has announced the cast for the Off-Broadway Premiere of F#%king Up Everything, by David Eric Davis and Sam Forman, opening at the Elektra Theatre on 24 Mar 2013, following previews from 15 Mar 2013.

Directed and choreographed by Jen Wineman, F#%king Up Everything will feature Max Crumm as (Christian Mohammed Schwartzelberg) with Lisa Birnbaum, Dawn Cantwell, Katherine Cozumel, Jason Gotay, George Salazar and Douglas Widick.

Described as a rock musical comedy with heart, F#%king Up Everything is set in today's Brooklyn indie music scene, and is an old-fashioned boy-meets-girl love story for the 21st Century. When these hipsters aren't true to who they are, they screw up everything. Especially love. And no one screws up more than children's puppeteer Christian Mohammed Schwartzelberg when he meets singer-songwriter Juliana, the girl of his dreams.

F#%king Up Everything has music & lyrics by David Eric Davis, a book by Sam Forman and David Eric Davis. The creative team includes sets by Deb O, costimes by Melissa Trn and lighting by Joel E. Silver.

F#%king Up Everything first took the stage at the New York Musical Theatre Festival in 2009 where it was recognized with the NYMF Awards for Excellence for Book, Lyrics (Honorable Mention), Outstanding Performance and Best Ensemble (Honorable Mention).

In 2011, the show was presented at Washington, D.C's Woolly Mammoth where it was called "An hour and a half of pure, unadulterated fun" - DC Theatre Scene (5 Stars!); "Rocks the house!" Washington Post; "So well-conceived, so perfectly executed" - Washington City Paper.
