Fault Lines at the Cherry Lane Theatre
Naked Angels will present Fault Lines, a dark comedy by Stephen Belber, opening at Cherry Lane Theatre on 30 Sep 2008, following previews from 22 sep and running through to 2 Nov 2008.
Naked Angels production of The Talk, by Frank Pugliese, which was to play at the Cherry Lane Theatre from 9 Sep 2008 - 23 Oct 2008 has now been cancelled.
Fault Lines: Whole Foods, Edie Brickell and mini-hot dogs abound in this dark comedy, in which a seemingly ordinary boys night out turns sour for two friends when a stranger forces them to delineate the boundaries between loyalty, conviction and betrayal.
Directed by David Schwimmer, Fault Lines features Josh Lucas, Noah Emmerich, Dominic Fumusa and Jennifer Mudge.
The creative team includes Cameron Anderson (sets), Mattie Ullrich (costumes), Jason Lyons (lighting) and Bart Fasbender (sound).
Bios: Stephen Belber (playwright) drama 'Match' was produced in Broadway at the Plymouth Theatre in (2004), directed by Nicholas Martin and starring 'Frank Langella' and 'Jane Adams.' Hs plays ' Small, Melodramatic Story,' 'McReele' and 'The Laramie Project' have all had off-Broadway productions.
Josh Lucas played on Broadway in 'The Glass Menagerie' 2005, off-Broadway he has appeared in Naked Angel's production of 'Spalding Gray: Stories Left to Tell' and in Manhattan Theatre Clubs production of 'Corpus Christi.'
Dominic Fumusa played on Broadway in 'Wait Until Dark' (1985), Off-Broadway he played 'Toddy Koovitz' in the Public Theater's production of 'Take Me Out' at the Anspacher Theatre.
Jennifer Mudge was nominated for a Darma Desk Award for Outstanding Actress in a Play for her Off-Broadway performance as 'Lula' in the Cherry Lane Theatre's production of 'Dutchman.' she also played in 'Primary Stages' off-Broadway production of 'The Stendhal Syndrome' at 59E59 Theater A.
Noah Emmerich is making his New York stage debut.
