They want to be a part of it! Colton Ryan and Anna Uzele will star in the new Broadway musical New York, New York, premiering this spring at the St. James Theatre. Performances begin March 24 ahead of an April 26 opening night.

Ryan will play Jimmy Doyle. He is best known for his Theatre World Award-winning performance as Gene Laine in Girl From the North Country on and off Broadway. He also understudied the title role of Dear Evan Hansen and later starred as Connor in the musical's film adaptation.

Playing Francine Evans is Anna Uzele, known for originating the role of Catherine Parr in Six on Broadway and playing Andrea Devereaux in the Tony Award-winning revival of Once On This Island.

Additional casting for New York, New York has yet to be announced.

New York, New York takes its name from the Martin Scorsese film of the same name, known for the iconic title track. The stage adaptation, written by David Thompson and Sharon Washington, follows a group of artists trying to succeed in a booming post-World War II New York City.

The musical features classic songs from the film by John Kander and Fred Ebb, plus new songs composed by Kander and featuring lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda. Five-time Tony Award winner Susan Stroman directs and choreographs.
