Burnout Paradise will return to NYC, playing Off-Broadway at the Astor Place Theatre from February 18 to June 28, 2026. Opening night is March 5.
In Burnout Paradise, four performers mount treadmills and try to complete a series of increasingly difficult tasks, offering the audience their money back if they don't, and the action unfolds differently every night.
The show, created by the Australian theatre collective Pony Cam (Claire Bird, Ava Campbell, William Strom, Dominic Weintraub and Hugo Williams), previously ran in Sydney, Melbourne, and Edinburgh before making its NYC debut at St. Ann's Warehouse in fall 2024.
"Whatever else is going on in the world, your taxes, your grocery list, your friend’s birthday party, and the daunting weight of your career obligations will still be there," our critic wrote of the first Off-Broadway run. "Pony Cam is intimate with this balancing act of adult life; their show Burnout Paradise honors the act of running out of time to get everything done."
The creative team features scenic and video designers Jim Findlay and Pony Cam, lighting designer Dans Maree Sheehan, and sound designer Cody Spencer.
