She’s alive! Betsy Wolfe will join the cast of Death Becomes Her on Broadway this winter, beginning performances January 16 at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre.

In Death Becomes Her, Wolfe will assume the role of Madeline Ashton from Tony-nominated original cast member Megan Hilty, who plays her final performance January 4. Continuing cast members include Tony nominee Jennifer Simard as Helen Sharp, Christopher Sieber as Ernest Menville, and Michelle Williams as Viola Van Horn.
The Death Becomes Her musical is adapted from the 1992 film of the same name, which starred Meryl Streep and Goldie Hawn as frenemies Madeline and Helen, who each take a mysterious potion to achieve eternal youth. The stage adaptation opened on Broadway in 2024 and went on to earn 10 Tony nominations, including Best Musical.
