A Grammy winner and Tony nominee for playing Sweet Sue in Some Like It Hot, her other credits include Tina: The Tina Turner Musical as Zelma, Chicken and Biscuits as Brianna, Waitress as Becky, Chicago as Matron "Mama" Morton, A Night with Janis Joplin as Aretha/Joplinaire, Porgy and Bess as Mariah, and The Color Purple as Sofia.
