Goodbye until tomorrow, and experience The Last Five Years on Broadway. Tony Award nominee Whitney White (Jaja’s African Hair Braiding) directs superstars Jonas (of The Jonas Brothers) and Warren (Tina: The Tina Turner Musical) in Tony Award winner Brown’s (Parade) intimate, two-person musical about a love story both told forward and in reverse.

An exquisite story and score awaits: in The Last Five Years, Cathy is a rising actress and Jamie a burgeoning novelist. Over half a decade, the two New Yorkers fall in and out of love, with Cathy’s story starting in the melancholy of a bitter breakup and Jamie’s beginning in the heat of new romance, just as their relationship is about to take off. Somewhere along the way, they’ll meet in the middle.

Filled with rich solos and duets including “Still Hurting,” “I Can Do Better Than That,” and “The Next Ten Minutes,” Brown’s score is one of his most popular, frequently covered by Broadway artists and performed at cabarets and concerts. Now, the love story and its splendid score comes to Broadway for the first time. Norbert Leo Butz and Sherie Rene Scott originated the roles of Jamie and Cathy; now, the next generation takes on these iconic characters.

Don’t miss out on two stars appearing in the Broadway debut of a sweeping love story, now shared in a bold new production from acclaimed director White. Tickets to The Last Five Years are available now.
