About Woman of the Year

“It is funny, it has zing, it has sass… It also has some very attractive music and lyrics, a clever book, an air of class and a superior sense of imagination to it. In a word, it is terrific.” – New York Post

Tess Harding is America’s most famous TV reporter and Sam Craig is America’s most famous cartoonist. When Tess goes on air to insult Sam’s work, the two start an epically public feud in their respective mediums. The feud turns to romance but not to harmony, in this delightful battle of the sexes between two outsized egos. Songs: “Sometimes a Day Goes By,” “I Wrote the Book,” and “The Grass is Always Greener.”

Dated, Fluffy, Great staging, Delightful

See it if you will enjoy an older show on a small stage.

Don’t see it if the dated references or small stage will bother you

Do not miss, Joyous revival of underappreciated musical ...

See it if you miss the York Theatre's Musical in Mufti Series. This company is ably taking up the mission of revisiting neglected musicals ...

Don’t see it if you will be bothered by a Broadway musical being simply but expertly recreated on a shoebox size stage but with a easy to love ensemble . .

Refreshing, Funny, Great singing, Entertaining, Delightful

See it if you never saw the original production with Lauren Bacall. This is the first revival in over 40 years! The Kander & Ebb score is terrific!

Don’t see it if you do not like small-scale shows.
