Compelling, Well staged, Great acting, One big plot flaw

See it if You want an in the round experience of a compelling refugee story with strong performances. One big plot flaw hurt it (see more).

Don’t see it if You don’t like odd non proscenium spaces. My seat hurt after a while. And by gosh RUN to coat check after or you’ll be there forever.

Great acting, Great staging, Great writing, Relevant, Thought-provoking

See it if an exceedingly timely and relevant play about refugees. A must see. Exceptional staging, direction, and acting.

Don’t see it if you can't sit uncomfortably for almost 3 hours in chairs/benches/floors.

Epic, Great acting, Riveting, Stirring, Inspiring

See it if inspired by inherently dramatic, modern day epics: founding cities, forging alliances, escape, survival. Non-theater friends will like too.

Don’t see it if you prefer the sort of insular theater devices only studied theater people like seeing; are too embedded in first world problems.

Ambitious, Great acting, Must see, Profound, Relevant

See it if Care about refugee issue; into semi-immersive theatre (you are seated as a customer in a camp cafe); audience donation for refugee course

Don’t see it if You mind turning head to locate actors in all directions; some violent and brutal scenes; you don’t want to be heartbroken by a show
