See it if you want an excellent performance of two Nina Simone acts: 1968 and 1976 that include commentary on the times with well-sung numbers.

Don’t see it if if you are looking for a full biography or a musical with a plot and all her hit songs - this is a stage performance with a 3 piece band.

Don’t see it if Uninterested in Nina Simone's classics eg "I Wish I Knew How It Would Feel2B Free" or"Ne Me Quitte Pas" AND "My Way": Nina's life in 1song.

See it if Excellent performance by Laiona Michelle who plays different characters in Nina's life as well as powerful heartbreaking vocals.

Don’t see it if A few strong words...not interested in Nina Simone's story, civil rights, music, or mental health struggles.

See it if Outstanding performance by Laiona Michelle portraying two concerts by Nina Simone as well as a wonderful band to support her.

Don’t see it if You do not like Nina Simone. One of the better off Broadway Productions I've seen without question. Highly recommended.
