This is good news, no doubt about it! Roundabout Theatre Company will present the first Broadway revival of Doubt: A Parable in February 2024, starring Tony and Emmy Award winner Tyne Daly and Tony and SAG Award winner Liev Schreiber.

Daly is a Tony Award winner for Gypsy and a nominee for Mothers and Sons and Rabbit Hole. She makes her Roundabout debut with Doubt. Schreiber has performed in Betrayal and Moonlight with Roundabout, and he received a Tony for Glengarry Glen Ross.

In John Patrick Shanley's play, Daly and Schreiber play Sister Aloysius and Father Flynn, respectively. Aloysius is the fearsome principal of an all-boys' Catholic school who wrestles with her morals and doubt when she suspects unseemly relations between Flynn and one of her students.

Scott Ellis directs the production, Doubt's first since 2005, at the American Airlines Theatre. Additional casting, creative team, and exact performance dates have yet to be announced.

Doubt: A Parable completes Roundabout's 2023-24 season, which also includes the previously announced I Need That, starring Danny DeVito, on Broadway and The Refuge Plays, Covenant, and Jonah off Broadway.
