Find out who will star in the Broadway premiere of Martyna Majok's Cost of Living at the Samuel J. Friedman Theatre. Cost of Living begins previews on September 13, ahead of an opening night on October 3.

Cost of Living follows two pairs: Ani and Eddie, and John and Jess. Ani and Eddie are estranged spouses who come together after Ani has a double above-the-knee amputation leaving Eddie to care for her. At the same time, cerebral palsy sufferer John hires Jess to assist him.

Cost of Living premiered at Manhattan Theatre Club's Stage I Off Broadway in 2017. In a five-star Cost of Living review on New York Theatre Guide, our critic said: "Cost of Living is perfection. It sent me over the moon. It reawakens my belief in the poetry of theater and highlights its purpose as the critical eye on our human existence. Seamless. Impossible to pick apart. On the face of it you might think that Cost of Living is a melancholy story, but Ms. Majok brilliantly infuses her characters and dialogue with biting humor."

Gregg Mozgala and Katy Sullivan will reprise the roles of John and Ani in Cost of Living. Kara Young willl play Jess and David Zayas will play Eddie.

Jo Bonney directs Cost of Living. The show features scenic design by Wilson Chin, costume design by Jessica Pabst, lighting design by Jeff Croiter, and sound design by Rob Kaplowitz.
