Reunions tickets

A new musical, Reunions stars Chip Zion and is a charming look at second chances.
Six actors in early 20th-century costumes stand in a line on stage, with household props, against a backdrop of a framed painting and wallpaper.
Two men in period costumes talk on stage; one is kneeling with a satchel, the other sits on a decorative bench, gesturing with his hand. Autumn leaves are scattered on the floor.

About Reunions

Get Reunions tickets on New York Theatre Guide to experience this unique musical about second chances that combines two charming plays into one new show. Reunions off Broadway plays at New York City Center Stage II this fall and winter for a limited run only. Featuring a sparkling cast of musical theatre talent, Reunions is a special show about how it is never too late to rediscover the life you almost lived.

In Reunions off Broadway, one musical presents two acts, one per play reimagined for this singing story. The first, The Twelve Pound Look, takes place in London a century ago and follows a man who is about to be knighted. Based on the play by J.M. Barrie, the creator of Peter Pan, the play is a ripped-from-the headlines look at issues of social class, a modern woman's role, and the high price of success.

The second, A Sunny Morning, takes place in a park in Madrid where the hope of love springs eternal, even among 70-year-olds. That work is based on the enchanting play by Spain’s prolific Quintero Brothers.

The combining of two plays allows for a unique musical experience. “When I first started writing Reunions, I envisioned the show in New York and here we are with a great cast and team,” said bookwriter and lyricist Jeffrey Scharf. “The underlying materials are wonderful examples of dramady with a shared theme that is timeless and universal – who hasn’t wondered what a ‘we meet again’ moment would be like? Musicalizing heightens the impact and poignancy in a way I hope audiences will find entertaining and relatable.”

The cast of Reunions includes Bryan Fenkart, Joanna Glushak, Chilina Kennedy, Courtney Reed, Daniel Torres, and Chip Zien. The team also includes Jimmy Calire (composer) and Gabriel Barre (director and choreographer). Tickets to Reunions in New York are available now.
