FOR ONE NIGHT ONLY… A CHORUS LINE returns to its original Broadway home for the official 50th Anniversary Celebration. The nine-time Tony Award® and Pulitzer Prize-winning masterpiece that transformed Broadway is back! A CHORUS LINE returns to the iconic Shubert Theatre, where it ran for 15 years, in a special benefit performance honoring the legendary musical. This unforgettable evening will feature the original choreography by Michael Bennett and Bob Avian, paying tribute to the brilliance and legacy of a show that changed theatre history.
This star-studded event will celebrate the legacy of A CHORUS LINE, with appearances by original cast members Kelly Bishop, Wayne Cilento, Baayork Lee, Priscilla Lopez, and Donna McKechnie, who created these iconic roles in 1975. Broadway favorites Jessica Vosk, Robyn Hurder, Francis Jue, Jessica Lee Goldyn, Tony Yazbeck, and more will also appear.
All proceeds benefit the Entertainment Community Fund’s programs supporting dancers across the industry. A CHORUS LINE was conceived by Michael Bennett, with music by Marvin Hamlisch, lyrics by Edward Kleban, and a book by James Kirkwood, Jr. and Nicholas Dante. Directed by Baayork Lee.
