About Walden
Get Walden tickets and see Golden Globe Award nominee Emmy Rossum (The Phantom of the Opera) and SAG Award winner Zoë Winters (Succession) play estranged twin sisters deciding whether to remain on earth or pursue a future in space as humanity’s fate hangs in the balance. This new play, coming to Second Stage this fall, is by rising star and O’Neill finalist Amy Berryman; The Guardian called the play an “intelligent, soulful drama” about how vast the space can be between two people. Walden tickets are available on New York Theatre Guide now.
Experience Walden off Broadway to see what London Theatre called a “topical futuristic play” that “asks big philosophical questions and certainly sparks discussion about what we can do to be more responsible citizens of the world.” After a smash run across the pond, the new play comes to New York City for its American debut and features a dazzling cast, directed by Tony Award nominee Whitney White (Jaja’s African Hair Braiding).
In this science fiction play, set in the near future, Stella (Rossum) and her fiancé wait at their remote cabin for Stella’s estranged twin sister, Cassie (Winters), to show up. Both genius scientists, they were raised by their astronaut father to be top talent at NASA, but in the years since the twins have taken different paths. Cassie just returned from a lauded moon mission, while Stella has left NASA behind. However, when they meet up again, old conflicts reignite, but here may not be enough time to repair both childhood wounds and a planet on the brink of disaster.
A refreshing and utterly compelling new play about the distances we’ll go to find home, family, and our passion, Walden unites two stars on one stage for a thrilling theatrical experience. Tickets to Walden are available now.
