A sparkling new play, Grief Camp offers audiences a specific window into all the wackiness, humor, and depth of adolescence and loss.

Smith has developed works at HERE Arts Center, Ice Factory Festival, and A.R.T. Now, she makes her Atlantic debut while pairing up with Waters, a director known for taking on unique plays, as with the Broadway mounting of Dana H. along with off-Broadway wonders like The Thin Place, Big Love, and more. An Obie Award winner, Waters was the Artistic Director of the Actors Theatre of Louisville.

Atlantic Theater Company is known for its edgy new plays and musicals that often go on to shape American theater and enjoy award-winning runs. Many works have transferred to Broadway, including Spring Awakening, Kimberly Akimbo, The Band’s Visit, and more.
