About N/A - The Play

Get N/A tickets to witness a timely new play about two familiar politicians played by Emmy Award winner Holland Taylor and Theatre Wold Award winner Ana Villafañe. N/A tickets are now available on New York Theatre Guide.

Experience N/A on Broadway, directed by Tony Award winner Diane Paulus (Pippin). An explosive new play from Mario Correa, a former Congressional aide, N/A follows two congresswomen, generations apart but both powerful in their social clout and Washington, D.C. influence. A riveting play about power, politics, and the perilous path to progress, N/A is a razor sharp battle of wills — and wits — between two women.

In Correa’s play, N is the first woman Speaker of the House, and A is the youngest woman ever elected to United States Congress. Perhaps these figures seem familiar, but look deeper: get a peek behind the curtain to see how politics are really run on Capitol Hill. Inspired by real Americans and significant events, this spellbinding two-hander shines a light on one of the most powerful women in American history... and the once-in-a-generation political star who came to defy her.

Taylor is a screen icon; she won an Emmy Award for The Practice and she also received four nominations for Two and a Half Men. She’s appeared in many films, including Romancing the Stone and Legally Blonde, and she’s also no stranger to the stage: Taylor wrote and starred in Ann on Broadway and received a nomination for the Tony Award for Best Actress. Villafañe won acclaim for her portrayal of pop icon Gloria Estefan in the Broadway musical On Your Feet! and has also appeared on TV in recurring roles in Younger, New Amsterdam, and Sunnyside.

Now, these two acclaimed actresses go head to head in this contemporary look at politics. Get ready for fireworks, and not just ones that celebrate our nation’s independence. Tickets to N/A are available now.

See it if you're looking for a breezy 80 minutes of theater magic, as two political icons exchange verbal blows, headed by phenomenal Holland Taylor.

Don’t see it if wordy plays, based on real political characters who confront each other's approach to 'how the sausage' should be made, are not your thing.
