About The Keep Going Songs

After selling out last season’s Next@LCT3 concert series, Abigail and Shaun Bengson return to the Claire Tow Theater with the world premiere of THE KEEP GOING SONGS. Telling stories through song, The Bengsons will celebrate the beauty and complexity of life cycles, from a single person to entire ecosystems. Part concert, part wake, part theatrical extravaganza, THE KEEP GOING SONGS is a euphoric and moving journey through the grief of tough times and the rebirth of hope in better days.

Communal, Compassionate, Concert, Delightful, Joyous

See it if You like to be a part of the show (not active participation, but in conversation with the artists). You love the Bengsons.

Don’t see it if You’re looking for a narrative from start to finish. It’s a concert of beautiful songs that I believe everyone can relate too, but no story.

Engaging, Great Singing, Hopeful, Original, Quirky

See it if feels more like a concert than a show. Deals with grief but in hopeful way. Also science, religion. Not like anything I've seen.

Don’t see it if you hate folk music, want a more traditional show, don't want to deal with grief/loss. Some songs went on too long and at times repetitious.

Absorbing, Clever, Delightful, Entertaining, Moving, Funny, Poignant

See it if You like to think, laugh, appreciate excellent songwriting, & understand how music changes us. Their stories are interesting & relatable.

Don’t see it if you are looking for a formulaic, cliched show or have a closed mind.

Great Singing, Inviting, Quirky, Therapeutic, Vulnerable

See it if Ethereal almost therapeutic live music performed by 2 talented humans.

Don’t see it if It’s not a musical and there isn’t really a plot. Small production that is intimate.
