They decide to bring in Milo’s husband Kevin to beta test the app — but Kevin falls for Scarlett, his virtual trainer, making him, Milo, and Liza question their relationships with technology and each other. Featuring a cast of Broadway vets including Brittany Bellizeare, Andrew Keenan-Bolger, Caroline Lellouche, and Borris Anthony York, this topical new work explores modern love and whether we are our most authentic selves in digital spaces.

Gelman is known to test the limits of intimacy and dissect what makes a relationship tick. He’s also known to portray sexual relationships not gratuitously but with nuance and care: In his acclaimed, buzzy, and erotic three-hander Afterglow, a married couple looks into opening up their relationship.
