About JOB

Get Job tickets and see Succession’s Peter Friedman and Sydney Lemmon star in Max Wolf Friedlich’s explosive Broadway thriller, running through October 27 only. Michael Herwitz directs this sly two-hander, coming to the Hayes Theater. Get Job tickets on New York Theatre Guide.

Experience Job on Broadway following the production’s two critically acclaimed off-Broadway runs. After being placed on leave following a viral workplace incident, Jane (Lemmon, granddaughter of legendary actor Jack Lemmon) would do anything to return to her Big Tech job. But as the therapist who needs to authorize it, Loyd (Friedman, Succession star and Screen Actors Guild Award winner) suspects her work might be doing more harm than good. A taut psychological drama about how much we love, or need, our work, Job is a contemporary thriller that grabs hold of its audience and won’t let go for a bracing 80-minute ride.

The play rocked off Broadway and garnered critical praise for the production and its star performers. “Don’t be alarmed if you catch yourself holding your breath throughout the entire show,” Time Out New York wrote, and The New Yorker called it “engrossing, disturbing, and frequently funny — it might even scare you off social media for a day or two.”

Friedman is a theatre regular, originating the role of Tateh in Ragtime, earning him a Tony Award nomination, and he also has six Drama Desk Award nominations to his name, and one win. Lemmon makes her Broadway debut in the play but has been seen on screen in Tár and Fear the Walking Dead. Both have also appeared on the Emmy-winning TV show Succession.

Now, the hit show, a New York Times Critic’s Pick, comes to Broadway for a limited time only. Tickets to Job are available now on New York Theatre Guide.
