Selected Shorts: Marlon & Jake Read Dead People tickets
About Selected Shorts: Marlon & Jake Read Dead People
Booker Prize–winning and internationally bestselling author Marlon James and his editor at Riverhead Books, Jake Morrissey, host an evening of Selected Shorts inspired by their podcast, Marlon & Jake Read Dead People. In each episode, Marlon and Jake share their brutally honest opinions about our literary canon, from the spectacularly good to the hilariously bad. Now the pair bring a selection of the spectacularly good to Symphony Space with an evening of short fiction read aloud to you by actors Donna Lynne Champlin (Crazy Ex-Girlfriend), Brandon J. Dirden (Take Me Out), Debra Monk (The Gilded Age), Thom Sesma (Madam Secretary), and Heather Alicia Simms (Richard III)!
