Terrific theater, Great directing, Great writing

See it if you're interested in an inventive, intelligent and relevant updating (recreating?) of the odyssey from the perspective of a black playwright

Don’t see it if you dislike epic (and long) mythology plays, that blend high pathos with colloquial language, classic storytelling with cheap sitcom laughs.

Engrossing, Great singing, Relevant, Great acting, Seriocomic

See it if you're okay with going on a wild ride thru some very real points of the Black American experience on the wings of an ancient Greek epic poem

Don’t see it if you can't connect classic Greek mythology with real life urban situations & characters; don't believe absurdity can teach anything
