Melissa Etheridge: My Window is an intimate performance that combines Etheridge's singular music with personal stories. She shares tales of her Kansas childhood, career highs and lows, personal milestones, and more, all intertwined with songs that capture the emotions associated with each moment.

For Melissa Etheridge: My Window on Broadway, the singer collaborates with the showrunner and her wife, Linda Wallem-Etheridge, who contributed additional material; and director Amy Tinkham, known for staging concerts for rock bands like Aerosmith. Etheridge last appeared on Broadway in 2011, when she made her debut with a six-day guest engagement as St. Jimmy in American Idiot.
