The Metropolitan Opera presents the premiere of Eurydice, a new opera composed by Matthew Aucoin with a libretto by Sarah Ruhl. Eurydice is an opera that retells the classic Greek myth of Orpheus, who journeyed to the underworld to rescue the dead Eurydice and reunite them in life, from Eurydice's perspective.
