Irish Repertory Theatre has announced a 4-week extension for The Sean O'Casey Season, showcasing three of the Irish playwright's most famous plays in repertory: The Shadow of a Gunman (1923), Juno and the Paycock (1924), and The Plough and the Stars (1926). The O'Casey Cycle began performances on January 31 and was originally scheduled to run through to May 25, 2019 on Irish Rep's Francis J. Greenburger Mainstage, in celebration of the company's 30th Anniversary, but will now play its final performances on June 22, 2019.
The third of Sean O'Casey's Dublin plays, The Plough and the Stars, rounds out the trilogy now playing in rep through June 22, 2019, at Irish Repertory Theatre.
