Who's ready for a road trip? A new musical titled The Griswolds’ Broadway Vacation will play its world premiere engagements in Seattle and Houston before heading to Broadway in the 2022-2023 season. A Broadway venue and dates have yet to be announced. The first run will take place from September 10 to October 1, 2022, at Seattle's 5th Avenue Theatre, a venue that has hosted pre-Broadway engagements of musicals like Aladdin, Mrs. Doubtfire, and Hairspray. The second will run at Houston’s Theatre Under the Stars from October 25 to November 6.
