The Public Theater announces casting for 'Out of Time' off Broadway
January 11, 2022

The Public Theater has announced the full cast of Out of Time, a collection of five monologues by Asian American playwrights. The cast includes Mia Katigbak, Glenn Kubota, Page Leong, Natsuko Ohama, and Rita Wolf, each of whom will perform one of the monologues. The monologues are all written for and performed by Asian American actors older than 60, dealing with themes of aging, identity, motherhood, memory, and how they all intertwine. The production is directed by Les Waters and commissioned by The National Asian American Theatre Company, which Katigbak co-founded.

Our Out of Time Review

Memento mori is Latin for "remember that you will die." In Out of Time, a National Asian American Theatre Company (NAATCO) and Public Theater co-production, the transient nature of life is never far from mind. The play features five accomplished Asian American actors, each starring in a monologue by one of five Asian American playwrights.
