Octet, the newest work by Dave Malloy (Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812, and Ghost Quartet) at the Pershing Square Signature Center is part chorale, part drama, part magic. It transcends form, creating a new, pertinent, relevant, humorous, and relatable way of storytelling.
Signature Theatre presents the world premiere of new musical Octet, written by three-time Tony Award-nominee Dave Malloy and directed by Annie Tippe, as part of its 2018-2019 off-Broadway season.
Performances are staged at The Romulus Linney Courtyard Theatre within The Pershing Square Signature Center.

Featuring a score for an a cappella chamber choir and an original libretto inspired by internet comment boards, scientific debates, religious texts, and Sufi poetry, Octet explores addiction and nihilism within the messy context of 21st century technology.
