A pretty woman wakes up with a start in her bedroom as if waking from a disturbing dream. She looks around, realizes she is in her own home and crawls out of bed to begin her day.
Playwrights Horizons continues its 2018-2019 off-Broadway season with the world premiere of If Pretty Hurts Ugly Must Be a Muhfucka, written by Tori Sampson and directed by Liesl Tommy.
Performances are staged at Playwrights Horizons' Mainstage Theater.
