Depending on how you look at it, it’s either very fitting or highly inappropriate that New York City Center Encores! chose to honor the late Michael Friedman with Gone Missing. The centerpiece of the 2018 Encores! Off-Center season is a special two-night-only engagement of Gone Missing, honoring composer and Off-Center Artistic Director Michael Friedman, whose life was tragically cut short in the summer of 2017.
