In 2003, New York City theater troupe The Civilians interviewed real people about the physical objects they’d lost—keys, a sapphire ring, a Gucci pump. The wry and whimsical docu-musical that emerged, Gone Missing, presents a very personal account of how we deal with loss in our lives.

Our Gone Missing Review

Depending on how you look at it, it’s either very fitting or highly inappropriate that New York City Center Encores! chose to honor the late Michael Friedman with Gone Missing. Fitting because Mr. Friedman composed the music and lyrics for the show and was the Encores!
