Tony n' Tina's Wedding Closes Off-B'way 31 May 2014



The 25th Anniversary engagement of Tony n' Tina's Wedding, New York's longest running comedy, Broadway or Off-Broadway, will close off-Broadway on 31 May 2014. The new production opened at the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis High School from 28 Apr 2014, following previews from 13 Mar 2014 and was originally booking to 21 Dec 2014

At Tony n' Tina's Wedding audience members play the roles of Tony and Tina's family and friends in this interactive comedy. Immediately following the nuptials, the bridal party will escort their family and friends through Times Square to Guy's American Kitchen & Bar, where guests will celebrate with lovebirds Tony and Tina and members of their outrageous families.

The show was conceived by Mark Nasser and Nancy Cassaro, who starred as the original 'Tony' and 'Tina' when the show opened Off-Broadway on 08 Feb 1988. The show played Off-Broadway for 22 years, ending its run on 25 Jun 2010.

For the 25th anniversary production Marilia Angeline starred as the bride 'Valentina Lynne Nunzi' alongside Joe Ferraro as the groom 'Anthony Angelo Nunzio.'

Lynes (Joseph Vitale - Brother of the Bride), Gus Theodoro (Luigi Domenico - Great Uncle of the Bride), Silvana Mastrolia (Rose Domenico - Aunt of the Bride), Courtney Brooke Lauria (Sr. Albert Maria - Cousin of the Bride), Rick Pasqualone (Anthony Angelo Nunzio - Father of the Groom), Debbie Pingitore (Madeline Monroe - Mr. Nunzio's Girlfriend), Annie Rachele Lanzillotto (Grandma Nunzio - Grandmother of the Groom), Brad Martocello (Michael Just - Tina's Ex-Boyfriend) and Tim Monaghan (Father Mark, the Parish Priest). The Hired Help will include Al Quagliata, Susan Campanaro, Concetta Rose Rella, Tiffany Dawn Chilcott, Kyle Axman, Chris DePierro, Anthony Fett, Michael Gargani and Micah Spayer.
