Obie Awards 2018... And the Winners are...
Rajiv Joseph's Describe the Night was honored with the Obie Award for "Best New American Play" at the 63rd Annual Obie Awards.
Last night The American Theatre Wing and The Village Voice presented The 63rd Annual Obie Awards at Terminal 5 on West 56th Street, hosted by Emmy and Obie Award winner John Leguizamo. Rajiv Joseph’s Describe the Night received the Obie Award for "Best New American Play," along with a $1,000 prize. And as previously reported, Kathleen Chalfant was honored with a special Obie for Lifetime Achievement.
