Ernest in Love at the McGinn Cazale Theatre
Musicals Tonight! present a musical adaptation of Oscar Wildes play, 'The Importance of Being Earnest', called Ernest in Love, with book by Anne Croswell and music by Lee Pockriss, at the McGinn/Cazale Theatre from 20 Mar - 1 Apr 2007.
Ernest in Love: Algernon has a best friend, Jack Worthing, who pretends he has a wastrel brother named Ernest, who lives in London. The musical will include songs titled 'Mr. Bunbury', 'Metaphorically Speaking', and 'A Handbag is Not a Proper Mother'.
Directed by Thomas Mills, Ernest in Love features Blake Hackler (Jack Worthing), Lauren Molina (Gwendolen Fairfax), Nick Dalton ( Algernon Moncrieff), Melissa Bohon (Cecily Cardew), Deborah Jean Templin (Lady Bracknell), Sarah Dacey Charles (Miss Prism), William Ryall (Revered Dr. Chasuble), Roger Rifkin (Perkins), Selby Brown (Lane), Katherine McClain (Effie), Kathryn Feeney (Alice), Robert Anthony Jones, Jody Cook, Joseph Torello and Michael Jennings Mahoney.
