Barbara Mehlman is a lifelong theatregoer who cut her theatrical teeth on Mary Martin's "Peter Pan." In junior high school, she appeared as Ado Annie in "Oklahoma" and went on to major in Greek theatre and Shakespeare in
college. Professionally, she has studied at Playwrights Horizons and participated in Michael Shurtleff's master class. In community theatre, she appeared in "Lovers and Other Strangers," "Witness for the Prosecution," and "Social Security."
Ms. Mehlman currently writes a weekly theatre column that appears in the Poughkeepsie Journal, the Republican-American in Waterbury CT, and the Journal Inquirer in Manchester CT.
