Love the variety of doing all three, but prefer stage if pressed for a choice.
Your first stage performance was?
In the French play in high school.
Career highlight to date?
Cannot decide: Juliet in Romeo and Juliet, Eve in Applause, Gabrielle in The Dinner Party, or Desiree in A Little Night Music.
What roles would you most like to play?
Shakespeare’s Cleopatra, either role in A Perfect Ganseh by Terrence McNally, Desiree, again, in A Little Night Music and then Madame Armfeldt, anything in Chekhov, Mame in Mame
What is the most annoying part about your job?
Matinees at 2.
Briefly tell us how you become involved with Love, Loss and What I Wore?
They called and asked; I hadn’t gotten around to seeing it; I went; I loved it; I thought it was hilarious and touching and a REAL gift to women (and the brave men who also come). I said “YES!!!!!!”
Briefly tell us about the character you play in Love, Loss and What I Wore?
I play “Gingy” who is the dramatization of the woman who actually wrote the book on which it is based. She is the “glue” of the piece as her story is throughout.
If you had not become a performer, what might you have done instead?
An archeologist.
Who are your favorite actors/actresses?
Brando, Stephen Dilllane, John Glover, Meryl Streep, Linda Lavin, Eileen Atkins, Judi Dench, Irene Dunne, Carole Lombard, Vivien Leigh.
If you could meet anyone in the world dead or alive who would it be and what would you say to them?
Shakespeare: “How did you DO that??????”

Angus McIndoe, West Branch, Bar Centrale.
What was the last book you read, and name some of your favorite authors?
"The Cello Suites: J.S. Bach, Pablo Pasals, and the Search for a Baroque Masterpiece.”
John Le Carre, Anton Chekhov, Colette, Mary Wesley, Henning Mankell.
What was the last film you saw, and name some of your favorite movies?
“Restrepo”…”Gone With The Wind”, “All About Eve”, “Children of Paradise”, anything by Almadovar
Favorite TV programs?
“Antique Roadshow” (particularly British editions), any John Le Carre adaptations, 24
Favorite holiday destinations?
Village of Kyparissi in Greece, London, Paris, Rome.
Do you have any superstitions?
Don’t whistle in the dressing room; NEVER puts your shoes on the dressing table in the dressing room; do not quote the Scottish play (by Shakespeare…you mustn’t even say the name!!!!!!)
If you were stranded on a desert island, what three items would you take with you?
Complete Shakespeare, computer and charger.
