Tony Yazbeck returns to Chicago as Billy Flynn tonight

Tony nominee Tony Yazbeck returns to the Broadway production of Kander & Ebb's Tony Award-winning musical Chicago tonight, reprising the role of Billy Flynn at the Ambassador Theatre. He previously took on the role in 2011 and 2012 on the Great White Way. Tony nominee Christopher Sieber played his final performance as Billy Flynn last night, March 13.
Tony Yazbeck earned his Tony nomination for "Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role in a Musical" in 2015 for 'On The Town.' His other Broadway credits include Irving Berlin's 'White Christmas,' 'Gypsy,' 'A Chorus Line,' 'Never Gonna Dance,' 'Oklahoma!,' and 'Chicago.'
The principal Broadway cast currently includes Charlotte d'Amboise (Roxie Hart), Amra-Faye Wright (Velma Kelly), Tony Yazbeck (Billy Flynn), Raymond Bokhour (Amos Hart), LaVon Fisher-Wilson (Matron Mama Morton), and R. Lowe (Mary Sunshine).
Chicago features a score by John Kander and Fred Ebb, with a book by Bob Fosse & Fred Ebb. This revival production is directed by Walter Bobbie, with choreography by Ann Reinking.
The Broadway revival of Chicago began previews at the Ambassador Theatre on October 23, 1996, officially opening on November 14, and is currently booking through to January 21, 2018.

Chicago is the winner of six 1997 Tony Awards including Best Musical Revival and the Grammy Award for Best Musical Cast Recording.
