Ernest in Love to be revived at the Irish Repertory Theatre



The Irish Repertory Theatre are to present a revival of Ernest In Love, book and Lyrics by Anne Croswell, music by Lee Pockriss, opening at the Irish Repertory Theatre on 20 Dec 2009, following previews from 12 Dec and rnning through to 31 Jan 2010.

Ernest In Love is a musical adaptation of Oscar Wilde's comedy 'The Importance Of Being Ernest' and tells a story of social hypocrisy among the crème de la crème of Victorian England.

Directed by Charlotte Moore and choreographed by Barry McNabb, Ernest In Love will star two-time Tony nominee Beth Fowler (The Boy From Oz, Sweeney Todd) as Lady Augusta Bracknell, and will also feature Annika Boras, Brad Bradley, Kerry Conte, Katie Fable, Kristin Griffith, Ian Holcomb, Peter Maloney and Noah Racey.

The creative team features sets by James Morgan, costumes by Linda Fisher and lighting by Brian Nason.
