The critically-acclaimed Broadway production of Arthur Miller’s A View From The Bridge starring Liev Schreiber and Scarlett Johansson, directed by Gregory Mosher, recouped its entire investment as of 8 Mar 2010. The limited run has only 4 weeks left before it must end 4 Apr 2010.

Schreiber and Johansson are joined by Jessica Hecht, Michael Cristofer, Morgan Spector, Corey Stoll, Alex Cendese, Anthony DeSando, Antoinette LaVecchia, Mark Morettini, Joe Ricci, Robert Turano and Marco Verna.

The 14-week engagement began performances 28 Dec 2009, and opened on 24 Jan 2010 at the Cort Theatre to rave reviews: Beautifully observed production (NY Times); well-acted, well-staged revival (NY Daily News); Wickedly entertaining (NY Post); positively scorching (Washington Post).

A View From The Bridge: Dockworker Eddie Carbone (Liev Schreiber) has made a good life for himself and his wife and niece (Scarlett Johansson) in 1950's Brooklyn. As a former immigrant himself, Eddie is happy to house and protect his wife's Italian cousins who arrive illegally in pursuit of the 'American Dream'. What Eddie doesn't know is that this act of kindness will have a shattering effect on his whole life, and the lives of those he loves.

The creative team for A View From The Bridge features John Lee Beatty (Scenic Design), Jane Greenwood (Costume Design), Peter Kaczorowski (Lighting Design), and Scott Lehrer (Sound Design).

A View From The Bridge is produced on Broadway by Stuart Thompson and The Araca Group. Additional producers include Jeffrey Finn, Sonia Friedman, The Weinstein Company and Olympus Theatricals.
