Jamie deRoy & Friends, cabaret show at the Metropolitan Room on 14 May 2008.

Joining Jamie deRoy on May 14 will be stage, screen and cabaret star, Lucie Arnaz; actress, singer, comedienne Ivy Austin; last seen on Broadway in Old Acquaintance, Tony Award nominated Stephen Bogardus; OBIE Award winner, last seen in Marcy In The Galaxy, Donna Lynne Champlin; Drama Desk and Tony Award nominated Penny Fuller; singer/actress Gay Marshall and writer and comedienne Jane Stroll.

Barry Kleinbort is the director of Jamie deRoy & Friends and Ron Abel will serve as musical director.

Renowned for their family harmony that spawned country music hits, Larry Gatlin and The Gatlin Brothers rekindled their ole’ gospel music flame with the 2005 release of “Larry Gatlin and The Gatlin Brothers Sing Their Family Gospel Favorites,” and in so doing, lit the way towards their 9th Grammy nomination.

Jamie deRoy has won eight MAC Awards, four Back Stage Bistro Awards, ten Telly Awards and CaB Magazine’s Lifetime Achievement Award for her extensive work on both stage and screen. deRoy has appeared onstage with Joan Rivers and has headlined at many of New York’s major clubs. She has produced eight CDs in the Jamie deRoy & friends series on the Harbinger and PS Classics labels. Her theatre producing credits include Broadway: The Country Girl, David Mamet’s November, Jay Johnson: The Two and Only, Chita Rivera: The Dancer’s Life,and Say Goodnight Gracie.
