Poor Behaviour: expected in fall, but without Kline

Michael Riedel of the New York Post reported in Apr 2010 that Theresa Rebeck's new play, Poor Behaviour, will arrive on Broadway in the fall starring Kevin Kline and Sigourney Weaver.
The play, to be directed by Doug Hughes (Doubt), is still expected in the fall but without Kevin Kline who has declined the offer to star in the production. Sigourney Weaver, who was to co-star with Kline, is still belived to be interested.
There has been no fficial announcements about Poor Behaviour.
A 'top-secret' reading of the play took place on 19 Apr 2010, featuring Weaver, Kline, Dylan Baker and Laila Robbins, which Hughes directed.
Poor Behaviour is about two couples who spend a weekend together in the country - only to find that they are not in the least compatible. Doug Hughes describes the work as a "boulevard comedy."
Another new play by Rebeck, Seminar, is also being planned. Riedel reports that the play will be directed by Scott Ellis, and that Emmy Award-winner Alec Baldwin is interested in starring in the comedy, which is about "four young writers who attend a class taught by a sadistic writing coach (Baldwin).
Theresa Rebeck's is a prolific writer. Her many plays include 'Mauritius,' 'The Understudy,' 'Our House,' 'The Scene,' 'The Water's Edge,' 'Omnium Gatherum,' 'The Butterfly Collection' and many more. Her television work includes 'NYPD Blue' and 'Law & Order: Criminal Intent,' and her screen plays include: 'Catwoman,' 'Gossip' and 'Harriet the Spy.' Rebeck is also a novelist - her latest novel, 'Twelve Rooms with a View,' was published on 4 May 2010.
