Lincoln Center Theater has announced the extension of its LCT3 production of Stunning by an additional two weeks. The drama will now run through to 11 Jul 2009.

Stunning opened at The Duke on 42nd Street on 18 Jun 2009, following previews from 1 Jun and was originally scheduled to close on 27 Jun 2009.

The production opened to mixed reviews: "wonderful show" (NY Post); "collapsing into self-parody" (Back Stage); "stumbles over questionable terrain" (The Record); "falls somehow flat" (AP); "eye-opening drama ... has a chilling impact." (Variety)

Set in the insular Syrian-Jewish community in Midwood, Brooklyn Stunning tells the story of Lily (Cristin Milioti), a teenager newly married to a much older man (Danny Mastrogiorgio), whose sheltered life is disrupted when Blanche (Charlayne Woodard) enters her life.

Directed by Anne Kauffman, Stunning features Sas Goldberg (Claudine), Danny Mastrogiorgio (Ikey Schwecky), Cristin Milioti (Lily), Steven Rattazzi (Jojo) and Jeanine Serralles (Shelly).

Stunning has sets by David Korins, costumes by Miranda Hoffman, lighting by Japhy Weideman and sound by Rob Kaplowitz.
