Robert Foxworth and Byron Jennings join cast of 'Twelve Angry Men'


Robert Foxworth and Byron Jennings join the cast of Twelve Angry Men from the 1 Feb 2005.

Robert Foxworth will assume the role of the 'Juror 3', currently played by Philip Bosco and Byron Jennings will assume the role of 'Juror 11', currently played by Larry Bryggman

Twelve Angry Men opened 28 Oct 2004, following previews from 1 Oct, and has been extended four times, now playing to the 27 Mar 2005 at the American Airlines Theatre .

Twelve Angry Men is now the longest running production at Roundabout's American Airlines Theatre since the theatre opened in 2000. 'The Women', starring Kristen Johnston, Cynthia Nixon and Jennifer Tilly was the longest running show at 13 weeks. By 27 Mar 2005, Twelve Angry Men will have played 25 weeks.

Twelve Angry Men is directed by Scott Ellis, with set design by Alan Moyer, costumes by Michael Krass and lighting by Paul Palazzo

The other cast members are Tom Aldredge (Juror 9), Mark Blum (Juror 1), Robert Clohessy (Juror 6), Boyd Gaines (Juror 8), Kevin Geer (Juror 2), Peter Friedman (Juror 10), Michael Mastro (Juror 5), John Pankow (Juror 7), James Rebhorn (Juror 4), Adam Trese (Jurur 12).

A young delinquent awaits sentencing for the manslaughter of his aggressive father. One juror feels that there is a reasonable doubt- to the frustration of his eleven colleagues - thus preventing a quick verdict. During the heated deliberations, the hidden preconceptions and assumptions of the jurors are revealed. When faced with playing the hangman, each juror is forced to face himself.
