Manhattan Theatre Club announce four productions for their upcoming 2007-2008 season.
Two Broadway plays to be staged at the Biltmore - New York premiere Mauritius by Theresa Rebeck and Broadway premiere Top Girls by Caryl Churchill.
Two Off-Broadway plays to be staged at the NY City Center - World premiere The Receptionist by Adam Bock and American premiere Pumpgirl by Abbie Spallen.
Specific production dates, casting, and the remaining three productions of the seven play season will all be announced at a later date.
Broadway's Biltmore Theatre:

Mauritius
(New York Premiere) by Theresa Rebeck - director still to be announced.
Synopsis: Jackie and Mary are half-sisters whose mother's death leaves them in possession of a rare stamp collection. But which sister actually owns the stamps? Which of three dealers can be trusted with their sale? And where do we choose to live: the present or the past?
- Top Girls
(Broadway premiere) by Caryl Churchill, directed by James Macdonald.
Synopsis: Set at the Top Girls Employment Agency in London in the early 1980s, the play tells the story of Marlene, an ambitious career woman who has just been appointed head of the firm. But as she celebrates her achievements, can we applaud her values?

Off-Broadway's New York City Center:

Daniel Sullivan will be MTC's acting artistic director 2007-2008 season, taking over for Lynne Meadow.
