Opened as the Guild Theatre in 1925. It was used as a Radio Playhouse (WOR Mutual Radio) from 1943 to 1950. Then it became a theatre again and the name changed to the Anta Playhouse (aka Anta Theatre). Then in 1981 it was renamed the Virginia Theatre, before assuming its present name in 2005.
